SAN Virtualization
EtherDrive Storage Appliances use the open ATA-over-Ethernet (AoE) network storage protocol. AoE is a fast, simple, affordable alternative to Fibre Channel and iSCSI storage.
CORAID EtherDrive VirtualStorage Appliances can be added to an EtherDrive AoE SAN to create dynamically resizeable (elastic) AoE target devices (LUNs) from physical AoE devices.

EtherDrive Mirror & Partition Appliances can be added to an AoE SAN to create mirrored LUNs using EtherDrive storage. Mirrored LUNs can also be partitioned into smaller LUNs. Mirroring LUNs provide additional data protection "on top" of the RAID that is used within the EtherDrive storage appliance, and can be used to build a "No Single Point Of Failure" (NSPOF) storage system.
